Halloween and Success in activation

October 26, 2015

Buenas Familiares y Amigos!

Well, we have had a little bit of success this week. We may not have found a lot of new people to teach… but what matters most is helping those that are progressing more towards baptism. We had 7 Investigators go to church, and we had 9 less actives come to church as well! we can say that’s pretty impressive! Bishop Cortez has been pretty pleased with our work, even though i feel like its not that much… but I know little by little we will be able to have more success and have more people to teach. When President Nelson came to our mission he told us that we should work with those less actives and ask for references from them. He promised that those investigators that are in contact with the church through friends or families that are members will be more receptive to the Gospel and make the sufficient changes to be baptized and to endure to the end.

Halloween this week…. ugh… haha were going to see some pretty weird things happen this weekend… haha… Halloween is really interesting in Latin america, with the beliefs that their loved ones have the chance to come back to earth in spirit for one day O_O but a lot of crazy things happen in these days… things that are difficult to explain… haha… normally holidays is a good time to visit families… but here its quite the opposite…

Well the days just go by faster and faster and my time here on the mission lessens by the minute! its a sweet bitter feeling… haha but never losing sight of my purpose as a missionary and why I am here!

Well, time is up and I gotta get going… I love you guys and hope that everything is going well for you all! I hope that you have a great Halloween!

¨If ever there is a tomorrow when we´re not together. There is something you must always remember,
You are braver than you believe,
Stronger than you seem, and
smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is even if we´re apart, I´ll always be with you¨ -A.A. Mine
